Fields of Conflict 2016 Programme

The Fields of Conflict 2016 Programme is now available from the Conference website, and you can view it here. We have some excellent papers to look forward to over the three days of talks, with speakers from across Europe and the Americas discussing their work on sites throughout the Globe. In addition to the talks, there will also be a reception at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, the home of the country’s major military collections, and opportunities for delegates to take guided tours of some of the locations associated with the 1916 Rising in Dublin. The Conference will conclude with a field trip on Sunday 25th September, which will take in sites such as Faughart Hill (a key location in the Bruce invasion of Ireland) and the Boyne battlefield (1690). A reminder that all delegates need to register for the Conference; details on how to do so can be found here.
